Producer
Jeff Lawless
Jeff Lawless is an Asian-American actor/producer and graduate from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
During his time at NYU, Jeff was a part of the Nine Muses Lab as a production intern working directly under founder Bryce Dallas Howard. Post-pandemic, Jeff worked as an instructor at Dean Norris' Performing Arts Center in his hometown of Murrieta CA. After starring in Lifetime's 'Are My Friends Killers?' Jeff moved to Los Angeles to continue pursuing his acting career. In 2023, Jeff co-founded Scrappy Hour Productions as a creative producer, working on various projects.
A full-time actor/filmmaker, Jeff has starred in around 40 titles, and doesn't plan on stopping! Jeff is extremely excited to bring "Killing Birdie" to life. He has been working on developing this project for over 4 years, and this is his pride and joy.

Veronica Tullo
Veronica Tullo is a director and writer making her feature film debut with Killing Birdie. She is a recent 2024 graduate of Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, where she quickly established her cinematic voice.
Veronica’s short films have earned significant international recognition. Her most recent film, "Did My Heart Love Till Now?", has been featured at 10 international festivals, including the Chattanooga Film Festival, The Fantasy Film Festival in France, and the Montreal Women's Film Festival. "Did My Heart Love Till Now?" was named a Finalist for Best Romance Film at the 2025 Independent Shorts Awards and, most notably, won Best Student Director at the Oscar-Qualifying 2024 Oniros Film Awards. Her earlier film, "For Lonely Nights," secured nine film festival wins, including Best Woman Filmmaker at the Oscar-Qualifying 2022 Accolade Global Film Competition.
Her professional experience spans both high-level production and award-winning independent filmmaking. With Rivendell Films, Veronica worked with major studios, including Warner Bros., Universal Studios, and LionsGate, serving as a Production Coordinator and Assistant to the Producer on behind-the-scenes content for films such as Sinners (2025), Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim (2024), Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024), and Alto Knights (2025). Additionally, she worked on the 2024 Netflix TV Mini Series Surviving Black Hawk Down (Loftus Casual Ltd.) and the 2025 Netflix docu-series Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser(Greenway Pictures). Veronica also worked as a Director and Videographer for the American Pavilion at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
She is excited to work alongside friends and fellow creatives to bring this masterpiece in the making to life.

Max Zimmer
Max Zimmer is a Los Angeles based cinematographer who has worked primarily on narrative and music video productions over the past six years.
Starting in documentary, and moving towards traditional storytelling, Max found a true love in creating worlds and collaborating towards visions. Though he didn’t follow the traditional path of learning through school, being around the filmmaking world from an early age, and growing up around prolific set time, became a guidance for Max’s understanding of cinema production. Due to his unique upbringing, Max has been able to access mentorship from incredible filmmakers such as Jon Favreau, Gore Verbinski, and Emmanuel Lubezki.
While leading many talented camera teams through various projects, Max has also established his own production company, Room2Room Creative, and launched a rental house, Digital Retina, as to bring the independent film world closer together. Room2Room Creative works in the independent world to support independent crews on the pre and postproduction side of filmmaking. Digital Retina has been the backbone of all of Max’s productions since 2023.
